Tuesday Night Double Blind $60+ (Bin 75): Dull ruby, see through, pale rim; funk, sulfur, some peanut shells, great rose, extremely floral, intense sour cherry and strawberry, some herb, incense; softer palate, silky, great focus, ethereal, love the texture, light but nice depth; a bit confused but called Chambolle.
No prior decanting. Quite accessible after a short time in the glass; not quite sure it improved after that over, say, one and a half hour. Otherwise it is all it should be: Perhaps more earthy than the sexy smoothness of a Mugnier Chambolle (last tasted around 1992), but polished, pure, complex and wonderful; after the very highest standards it could perhaps be seen as lacking a little in the beauty of the aftertaste(which had a slight green note) and in the expansiveness of its possible future ethereal character. Still, a delight for what it is.
Ahhh...ça pinote à souhait ici! Au nez, c'est floral et sur les petites baies rouge. En bouche, souple et digeste avec un beau fruit, des framboises et des fraises avec du poivre. Assez long et suave en finale. Très bien.
