From vines planted in 1949. Wine maker uses no filtration, aims for bright fruit and lots of sorting with destemmed fruits.
Ruby red in colour. Tart fruit in the nose. Very oaky on the nose. Lots of spice on the palate. Lots of oak present as well. Bit more charm and balance than the 2010. Bit of black currant on the finish.
