2x 1/2 showing rich, concentrated flavours of honey and apricot, and some orange. Good concentration with balanced acidity (if slightly lacking), drink or keep - taste in 6 to 12 months.

Ed & Sam to dinner (Home): 1/12 Half. Mid to full old gold. First look at this and it’s already quite developed with a saffron laden denseness to the honeyed apricot and orange fruit. A fortuitously good match for the cardamom crème brûlée it was served alongside. A good wine, excellent even, but I’d like a little more zip and acidity to lend a little freshness to the finish. ****
