Has aged quite decently, perhaps better than I would expect given the level of the wines in youth. The nose shows a little funk from age, with moderate fruit there and a slight band-aid thing. The palate disappoints a bit, merely competent but definitely still alive. 86-87
Somewhat old bones, but provided a good deal of enjoyment for an hour or so. Slightly bricked on the rim, light nose. Some softr fruit, acidic core with mocha and clay notes. Slight orange peel elements. Short finish that dissolved into mostly acid after the first hour.
NB - Bottle from a lot where 1995 is listed as vintage on the front label, but back label refers to 1996 vintage. Winery says the front label is the accurate one.
