A private lunch (The Seafood Restaurant, Padstow, UK): A blend of fruit from Les Crotots and Les Clous. Textbook Meursault, with all the minerality, elegance, flavour intensity and energy you would hope for from a first-rate Premier Cru rather than a mere villages. Pure and precise flavour profile, has real drive and very good length. Drinking well, should have 3-5 more years in it.

Casual Dinner (Giant Garouper, Serangoon Road): High toned nose of peaches, citrus and honey greets the nose while the palate was distinctively racy and pure. Not what one typically associates with Meursault but this was an extremely Riesling-like example. Can't feel any oak here but definitely needs time for the acidity to integrate.
