  • This was past its prime. It flows into the glass in a very golden colour. On the first day, a strong petrolium scent was too overwhelming to enjoy this wine. On the second day, it had calmed down. The petrolium smell was almost gone, but you could smell the age of this wine with nutmeg, overripe apricots and yellow peaches. On the palate, there was a lot of sweetness and a tad too much acidity. It was drinkable, but not overly enjoyable.
