  Decanted 4+ hours prior to dinner of broiled pork loin, carrots, and potatoes. Dark, mocha-violet color. Powerful nose of dark chocolate menthol, cherries, green pepper, herbs, and onions. Medium-bodied palate follows with tangy raspberries, chocolate cherries, loads of leather, mocha, mushrooms, herbs, and a touch of brett. The finish gradually improved with air and food, bringing a juicy acidity and fine-grained tannins. Overall, a great food wine that is built to last. Drink 2013-2028.

It is in a very tight phase right now and is hard to judge as it's just not giving much up. A touch of berry compote on the back of the palate.   Drank over two days. BDX blend; 62% cabernet sauvignon. Really juicy up front, with a peppery finish. Just a real pleasent wine and very enjoyable.
