Rockss and Fruit

(Gunderloch Nackenheimer Rothenberg Auslese) This is always a heavy hitter. This year is no exception. The botrytis is more integrated than when I tasted it back in June but it still backs a huge botrytis punch. Tastes like a liquid frozen creamsicle. It's ripe, fat, long and shows an array of citrus flavors but lacks something in the complexity departement. But it still makes up for that with its sheer power and explosiveness. Long too.

(Gunnderloch Nackenheimer Rothenberg Riesling Auslese) Botrytis is very evident here. Krazy nose of peaches, orange marmalade, kiwis, sweet peas and undergrowth. Thick and dense in the mouth with flavors of apricot and cream. Acids delineate all the material perfectly. Extremely powerful Riesling.
