First time I drink the El Alma and I must say 'W-O-W' what an amazing wine! Almost black in color. Nose shows dark chocolate, roasted coffee, black licorice and black berries. Very complex, elegant and long. It is high in alcohol, but one hardly notices it. Multi-dimensional and has such a perfect structure and balance. Definitely a modern wine but at the same time one of the best Cabernet Franc's I have ever tasted. Decant for an hour or better wait for another 3 years.
Opened my last bottle tonight. Decanted and waited 30 minutes. I thought it was a little light on its feet from the last time, like maybe it has passed its prime. I have the wines stores in my cellar with perfect conditions so I don't think it is me. I would not buy any more.
