Very good bottle, still feels young but a lot of corners have been polished at this stage. Will get even better over time. Still very happy with this.
Wonderful red and blue fruit nose of med+ intensity, some worn leather and tobacco notes in the background. Feels elegant and lifted by eucalyptus and other herb notes.
Palate of med- intensity, high acidity, tannins coming alive after a couple of hours providing great structure. More noticeable charred cedar note on med finish.
Open a couple hours before of consuming now. Should hold for quite a while.

17 year old Moulis. Still lot of tannins. Was worth opening it few hours before lunch

Blackberry, plums, quite fleshy, lightly smoked. Soft on the palate, smooth, tannins nicely integrated and still solid acidity. Average length; the fruit becomes surprisingly powerful with some time in the decanter. Classic style. Not particularly complex or interesting, but delicious and very solid. A food wine I think. Drinks well now, but there is no hurry at all.

At it's peak. From a difficult vintage this is very nice. Well integrated tannins, still some black fruit. Very nice.
