A pretty wine with bright cherry, cedar, and nutmeg on the nose. Palate is balanced with a medium (-) body, spice, mustard seed, and a really silky texture. Nice. With two hours of breathing, it's showing nice vanilla and sweet candied strawberry too. This is really growing on me.

This is my 5th bottle of this stuff and I feel compelled yet cautious about a review. I find this bottle a phenomenal expression of the lighter style of pinot that Oregon can produce. Lots of tart berry....almost Beaujolais like. Well packaged in a nicely smooth finish of saline, cranberry, and spice. I admit I am a huge cru-bu fan so my palate is subjective. Regardless, if you are looking for a great food friendly wine with complexity, check this out! Nothing to see here if you are looking for over the top extracted pinot. Great QPR!

Red berry wine. Red berry aromas. A darker aspect in the aromas. Palate again is crystalline mineral. This is day 2. Concentrated palate for the region. The 'dark' in dark cherry Kool-Aid. It has 08 going for it and great in the mid $20s.

Dark cherry with little structure left. Very mild tannins. Decent acid balance, but this one is going downhill. Drink now.
