Aroma of macerated red cherries and cedar. Tastes of red cherries, reminiscent of griottes, with a hint of brown sugar midpalate, ending with some green spice and black pepper in a lengthy drying finish. Expresses Anderson Valley garrigue. With aging, spiciness and peppery tannins have come forward a bit relative to the fruit adding some complexity. I find this intriguing and quite satisfying in its 11th year.

A beautiful, classic pinot with notes of spiramint and sage on the nose and red berry fruits on the palate. Medium bodied and very nicely balanced, perfect for the table as this paired fine with a variety of fare last night at Table 34.

Aromatic nose of sweet red and black cherry, raspberry, mint, leather, forest floor and turned earth, which showed on the palate. Good, bright acidity. If not for lingering sweet cherry, this would be a dead ringer for red burgundy. Great stuff

My second bottle of this. Found it to be a bit more brambly compared to last year, still with mint notes and cherry. Recognizable as new world but certainly displays some of the Burgundian character littorai is known for. Well balanced and savory. Found the finish a touch short. Drink now
