  Decanted briefly. Simply gorgeous with steely, charred earth and lovely cassis. Probably the world's best second wine.

  Premiere Napa Valley; 2/22/2023-3/25/2023 (Napa, California): Tasting Library vintages at PNV 2023. Very brief tasting notes around.
  
  Dark fruit, big broad and muscular with chewy tannins, struggled with this wine more than I hoped for.
