Very very nice for a 1er cru hence the 94. Excellent colour, and vivacious minerality frames citrus, chalk, and even a hint of secondary honeyed fruits. This is drinking really excellently and I reckon has a bit more positive secondary development in store.

2011 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent ($40 in 2014). Sharp light-mid green gold; low-mid viscosity (12.5 alc.); green fruit, citrus, lime, wet stone and pear nose; dry; medium-plus acids; medium body; some depth; medium long semi-crisp green fruit finish. w/seafood appetizers. 16.5 UC Davis scale, 91 other scales.

Excellent Wine. Still quite young, could have aged another 10 years. Flavors well integrated now however and drinking beautifully. Pale gold color, classic Chablis nose, long finish. Does not have the full depth of a grand cru, but a perfect match for our scallops in a creamy pan roasted tomato sauce.
