I wish there was some of this around as was fantastic and in a line-up of 4 Rousseau's, I thought it was Grand Cru. While I see this vineyard as more elegant and usually not as powerful as Clos St. Jacques, on this night in this line-up, it was rockin and performed easily at a Grand Cru level. While the minerality wasn't as present as the Clos St. Jacques above, the power exceeded it. 2000 are REALLY drinking nicely. I believe it was unanimous that this was the favorite in the flight with an off vintage Mazis and 2x Clos St. Jacques in the line-up.

Slightly oxidized, like sweet cooked strawberries. Not representative.

Light red color. Evolved nose. Starts with lovely mature fruit on the palate. Round, fresh and juicy. Soft tannins and medium length.
