  The last of my 3 bottles. This bottle is an example of the adage that there are no great wines just great bottles (my last bottle was scored 84). Light yellow color. Fantastic aromas of butterscotch on the nose. Moderate bead. Notes of chalk, meyer lemons and almonds. Creamy texture. No signs of being over the hill. 93 points.

  This was an unspectaular bottle. Medium yellow color and showing some age. Lower bead with flat tasting fruit notes. 84 points.

  1000 cases produced. Made from 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay from Chouilly. This estate owns 18 ha spread across 40 parcels. Total production is about 7000 cases but 4000 of them are sold 'sur latte' to negociants. Only 10% of their production is exported. Aged 6 years before disgorgement. Light yellow color. Full of power and body. Notes of citrus, chalk and biscuits. Solid bead. This will need some time to show some finesse and round out. Very nice now if you like very youthful champagne but has all the parts to improve. 91+ points.
