  Been holding this baby for a couple of years now. Picked it up through an online auction for pennies and expected nothing but an antique bottle. Uncorked tonight for fun. Cork came out intact. Color was a nice garnet/ruby. First taste was a little off but as it gained air it was AMAZING how the pinot fruit came back--very subtle but the fruit is still there!!! A nice damp earth finish. I would love to have put this into a vintage California pinot tasting. I would never have guessed this baby would have survived.
