Inky dark purple-black in color with aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry, bacon, eucalyptus and green olive. Ripe black raspberry fruit flavors with kirsch and white pepper finishing with moderate tannins, good acidity and a nice mineral streak. Delicious and completely unexpected at less than $10 a bottle.

After about ten minutes this opens up nicely. Hints of cedar and cranberry. I didn't get what the below taster did, this seemed good for the money, 12 dollars.

Once some of the wood blows off, it's some pretty fruit. But at first, yech.

This has no fruit and is the most awful tasting wood I have come across. The colors not bad if you just want to display it.
