  • Popped and poured. The wine was light to medium ruby in colour and offered a fresh and charming nose of floral notes, red fruit, red cherry, currant, cola, blood, chlorine and forest floor aromas. On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed red fruit, red cherry, currant, raspberry and cola, paired with medium-plus to high lively acidity, well-integrated tannin and very good length. A very good Bourgogne!

  • This is quite youthful in color. On the nose, aromas of cherry and sandalwood are present. On the palate, there are lean dark and red fruits present, a touch of earth, and a medicinal component. A little drying on the finish, a bit austere in character. Enjoyable nonetheless for what it is. I am not sure from where the grapes originate, but I would guess from an edgy place like Brochon or Maranges.
