Beautiful wine, with nice aged notes, and that special Merlot brand that is not the same as CS. The early palate is an elegant, soft chocolatey melange. Great acid/tannin balance, though both are probably at their peak. Not a lot of berry in this wine, more soft earth and leather. Medium weight. A very enjoyable wine.

Luscious! Surprisingly very primary with loads of cherry and berry and some tobacco. Fabulous texture. Drink or hold.

Needs a few hours to open up. Big berry notes on the front end.
