  I was looking forward to drinking this wine but I was sadly disappointed. I decanted for an hour and served with grilled steak. While I’m a big Buty fan, this bottle seemed flat or past it’s due date. Still had a good tannic backbone.

  Popped and poured. I have been a little reluctant to open some of my Buty's lately as the last couple have seemed to be a little too oaky. No worries here. It had okk present but not in an overt WA style that some cabs and syrahs possess. Pure fruit and some vanilla cream on the nose. Tons of fruit in the mouth with oak peeking through evey now and again. 20 second or so finish and all in all a pleasurable wine. 90 pts.
