Pale red brown. I never smelled or tasted anything like this before and it was not even unpleasant. My TN is probably somewhat “coloured” because this wine was served blind and I did not want to offend my host. I wrote down: complex and very special bouquet. Soft, but there is some acidity. Very special taste and a long aftertaste. Private note: This wine is well on its way back, but not completely dead yet. (In fact considering the vintage I was surprised.)
