“Is the fruit fading?” I asked in my last TN. With this bottle, the answer is a resounding, “Yes!” Fruit fading and the profile is dominated by oak. Drink up. 14.8% alc. With spicy seafood stew. Recommended.

Nothing but liquid gold in the glass. This is a deep, rich appearance. The nose is fully of butter, muted honeysuckle, lychee fruit, muted white fruits (peach?) and some very definite tangerine. The mouthfeel is fresh, clean and incredibly balanced. The profile is demure. Is the fruit fading? Or are the muted flavors a statement being made by Sally Johnson and reflecting her deftness? Not a clue. But I know the profile precisely tracks the nose. 14.8% alc. With seared scallops in a mustard sauce with a side of cauliflower cream sauce. Recommended, and leaning toward Highly Recommended.

Let this sit too long - bummer. Was good a year or so ago but spent now. Ironically, it's still solid on the nose but the mouthfeel is done.

This is a lovely, perhaps slightly syrupy, Viognier. Strong flavors if stone fruit, a hint of spice, perfect with summer fruits.

Need to drink the other 2 as this one is getting a bit long in the tooth. Still pops with crisp-ness but the finish is odd.
