  • Great tension and very long. Hints of bitterness and salt. Piercing.

  • Opened 6 hours ahead. Still early days - white flowers, great acidity and an excellent precision. Blind a good Montrachet? Surprisingly close. If we go there, more chevalier than Batard.

  • Excellent Rhone, precise and intense. Drinking in small sips as there is so much excellent material here. Hints of bitter notes make it quite unique. I am sure this will gain more in complexity.

  • 100% old vine Marsanne with a 200-250 case production. Stunning stuff. Butter, floral and citrus notes, intense minerality and enough acidity to hold it all together. Thick and viscous, almost like drinking a liqueur. It's incredible now. 99++

  • Best white wine I've ever had. Not sure why this wine isn't more expensive. My wife and I have had chardonnays from montrachet and California from all the top producers and top vintages under the $500 range. This wine has no equal.
A two hour decant in the wine cellar and the wine became life, possessing both power and finesse. My wife and I were stunned by the mineral wet stone and variety of white fruit flavors Aromas. After 4 hours of slowly enjoying this wine, we realized the incredible characteristics of this wine had not diminished at all. We decided to leave a small glass of wine uncovered in our wine cellar to see how long this one could last. Amazingly the next day we split this wine and enjoy it over lunch at and not lost any attributes.
Needless to say two Chardonnay drinkers favorite wine is now a Marsanne.
