  Decanted for about two hours. Still amazing. Beautiful nose and long finish. Drink now while it's still at its high point

  We opened two bottles this evening. The first seemed to lack a little structure, but the second was quite a bit more beefy. But both were very enjoyable and clearly are not going to get any better. I hate saying "past peak" as that makes it sound like a wine is old and tired; I do think this wine was better in the past so technically it's "past its peak" but it's still drinking very nicely and should be good for years.
