My first sweet vouvray, had dry ones a couple of times, and I love this. I'm usually not a big fan of sweet wines, but this goes so well with creamy foods, highly recommended.

It’s good but I expected better. Beautiful nose of apricot and vanilla custard. On the palate I get apricot, honey, and quince. Usually these are mind glowingly good. This bottle is just good.

(Huet Le Mont Moelleux Premier Trie) #1; COLOR-medium amber; NOSE-this is heavenly; apricots; peaches; butterscotch for days; PALATE-great dessert wine; sweet and delicious, but cleaner than many other dessert wines; very focused; I like the purity; has the big fruit, butterscotch and caramel, but still easy drinking, fresh and clean; and a nice banana peel flavor on the back-end; this rivals many top flight dessert wines; GV-92+

Loire trip 2022; 6/15/2022-6/19/2022 (Loire, France): [At Domaine Huet] Deep golden lemon. Bee wax, linoleum, tropical fruit. Almost like an older riesling. Full bodied, medium+ acidity, long finish

Drinking very well right now, much improved from a year ago. Peaches, honey, vanilla. Nice acidity and sweetness balance.
