Golden colour. Rich beeswax and dried apricots on the nose. Quite lush and rich on the palate too. Good acidity and some dried fruit is still present. I really like it - although it was my first 20+ years old Chenin.

These have been fun...after trying an unexpectedly vibrant '92 from a local retailer I picked up half a case at closeout. No duds yet, though some have been teetering on the edge of decline. This one was quite nice...deep golden, lovely honey/beeswax on the nose, great minerality and texture in the mouth, with still vibrant acidity, though very little fruit, not that I miss it...Still a couple left.

Deep golden color. Nice sweet botrytis nose, like a mature sauternes. Palate weaker, not much acidity remaining.
Cork was lose, soo might have been sligthly oxidized.
