Drinking well, but on the downslope. Nose has a good amount of fruit with a little hint of green. The palate shows more acid than fruit at this point but makes it pair with food well. Tannins are well integrated. Overall a nice wine but probably peaked at this point.
Absolutely solid Cali cab from a so so year. Aging beautifully, still plenty of purple fruits left. Moderate acidity, long deep finish with just a kiss of minimal oak intrusion. Alcohol is present but balanced. Tannins are smooth as butter right now. Glad we have three more bottles left, this is drinking wonderful right now but has at least another year left if not more.
Dark crimson with magenta highlights. Blueberry, spice and cedar nose. Medium to full bodied, plums, blackberries, cherries, well integrated tannins, leather, and a long sweet finish. Really excellent for an entry level cab.
