Very typical mid tier central coast chardonnay, and in my opinion one of the better ones in this price range. Tropical fruit nose, rich mid palate. Typical vanilla oak tannins on the finish, but not too overdone. A bit of heat on the finish. Best with rich and flavorful somewhat spicy foods to counter the intense simple flavors of the wine. Went well with cummin coated roast pork with cabbage and mustard.
Nose of green apple, honeysuckle, butterscotch, citrus and toasted oak. Apple, tropical fruit, and mild oaky tannins lead to a long finish. A very well made Cali chard, with wonderful fruit and good acidic balance. Paired with shrimp scampi.
