37th Annual Zinfandel Retrospective (R&D's): Aromas of chocolate, black fruit, red currants and dusty earth. Cherry, currants and chocolate flavors on the palate. Full-bodied, with medium tannins and a good finish. Drink from now-2020+.
Drank a split with my wife, her favorite wine. Continues to impress and I would think it has at least a few more years ahead before its decline. Quality is always consistent and the texture is always smooth with supple tannins.
