Intensely floral nose full of lavenders, roses, strawberries, violets, apples, honey, mints, and light spices; juicy yet still tannic on the palate, berries, cherries, tannins, and wood spices; long finish; overall, 91-92 points at this stage; more approachable and enjoyable than the previous bottle tasted in 2016.

Mostly berries, cherries, mints, roses, and wet pebbles in the perfumed nose; berries and cherries again, light wood spices, and partially ripe tannins on the juicy yet still tight palate; rather long finish, with more cherries and wood spices; overall, 90-91 points; still young but drinkable at this stage.

Lovely wine at what I would call a value price for 2010… the nose is classic Gevrey with lots of dark fruit, damp earth, animale, and a hint of pitch. There is also a hint of green, likely from some stems? The palate is outstanding with really good concentration and notes of black raspberry, black cherry, and damp underbrush. The finish is fantastic. This is a baby currently, but is actually quite outstanding. It will continue to develop well. This was my first bottle with this producer which is why I tried it early. I was impressed, especially at the price given the current burgundy market...

As enjoyable as the bottle in 2020 and perhaps slightly more mature; overall, 92-93 points at this stage.
