Very dark red/purple color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 2 hours at The Ranch. I had this wine a couple times almost 8 years ago. I found it impressive then, and just as impressive now with more evolution and integration, though it still has plenty of life left. Lovely black and red mountain fruits on the nose with earth and graphite overtones. The palate has plenty of cassis, tart and tangy, with a little bite still; fairly full bodied, but not at all heavy, tar and dusty minerality with round tannins that hold a little grip still. Classically well made cab.

Maybe a year or so beyond its prime, but still very drinkable and enjoyable

Very smooth, unfortunately it was past its prime so lost a lot of its complexity and flavors. You could get a hint of how good it once wqs though.

Really nice — plenty left in this one. Decant for an hour or longer.
