A really strong showing, much improved relative to bottles enjoyed as recently as eighteen months ago. The fruit is more present, and the wine seems to have fleshed out. Notes of peach and apple plus some anise and ginger (almost botrytis-like). This is about ripeness, not minerality, hence I knocked it down a point based on lack of typicity, but it delivered 93 points of enjoyment.

This bottle was a bit flat - in good shape and little oxidation but fruit was weak and acidity low-ish - no surprise given the vintage..
