Solid mountain Napa cab.
Beautiful deep ruby color with a nose full of violets and cassis, peppery spice, forest floor, cedar wood, with a nice long finish ending with a lingering note of flowers and dark berries.
It’s drinking perfectly now. Guess my prediction that it would last worked out just fine. Lol.

Wow, who would believe that a $40 bottle of wine would hang together this well over 15 years plus. Yes, it’s very mature, but as a pop and pour, it’s fantastic still had the body to hold up very well to a wagyu & venison burger.

Glass; Opaque rubi with some copper in the borders.
Nose dark fruit jam, plum, vanilla , nutmegMouth; tanins still present but polished, med- full mouth feel
Nice balance, aftertaste
Good for another 5 years.
