The weird thing about this bottle of wine was that it it had a cork that was only about 1/2 inch long. This was a first out of thousands of bottles that I have opened. Obviously, the cork sank as soon as I put pressure on it with the corkscrew. It was a WTF moment. Decanted. Nevertheless, the contents were just fine for a wine that will probably soon be terminal...

Best bottle of the six I have had. Perfect balance with a wonderful finish. The Cabernet-Syrah blend was gorgeous with some grilled sausages. I think I have one bottle left. It had a spicy note on the finish. Exceptional QPR.

PnV. Inky purple in color. Nose of bacon, lavender, and some plums. The Syrah really comes through. Super soft on the palate now with ripe plums and some pepperiness. Thoroughly enjoyable!
Enjoyed in a Riedel Vinum Syrah glass at 65°F.

Drinking like a Washington red blend. Touch of oak feels like more headroom to age
