  Wow. For en utrolig transparent nese. Så lys, urtete og kul. Rød frukt, full av nyanser, imponerende renhet og presisjon. Ordentlig konsentrert i munn. Intens i midtpartiet. Strålende balanse mellom fruktsødme og ungdommelige syrer. Lang. Ingenting varmt eller overdådig her. Det finnes altså vin utenfor Burgund også.

  The 1992 Château de Beaucastel is everything you want from a fully mature CdP. Vigorous swirling brings alive smokey herbs, leather, and earth. The palate is still quite rich with the addition of what I usually describe as dried candied oranges in aged Southern Rhone wine. This bottle defies the 1992 poor vintage reputation. Better 5-10 years ago, but still really enjoyable now.
