Happy Birthday Becca! So, Ik that ‘99 Dom not considered a great or even good vintage. Beautiful experience 2nite. Bubbles minimized. Creamy, subtle bread dough…well stored from release.

Super Bowl LVIII 2024 (Alpharetta, GA): Starter wine #2: Absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with caviar on brioche with creme fresh. I enjoyed the age on this bottle. It is drinking in its sweet spot right now.

This bottle was not quite up to the level of my previous bottle drank 6 months ago, but I will chalk that up to bottle variation. Still was very good, and everyone enjoyed the wine very much. Typical balanced acidity with tropical notes. Bubbles were still present.

Sampled at Oinoscent during service, courtesy of a customer
Expressive, coffee, roasted nmotes, sesame, earthy, spicy, malty notes, fruit way in the back. With time in the glass the wine opens up nicely
Palate with lively carbonation, citrusy, again the toasted/roasted profile but much more in balance with the fruit, youthful even, long finish.
Outstanding quality, impressive. Would/could/should need decanting ?

Fantastic bottle--very little pressure on opening, but frothy bubbles in the glass, slightly darker golden color; mature yeasty notes, roasted almond, subtle ginger bread, baked apple, baking spice notes; full, rich, creamy for champagne, med acidity but complex with balanced flavors. Really loved this and a perfect accompaniment with foie gras de canard. L's b-day
