Enjoyed many bottles of this vintage, drinking best right now. Explosive nose of plum and violets that fills the room. Smooth tannins. Opened after finishing Stags Leap Artemis, no contest as Croze was undoubtedly superior.
First impression of this Napa Cab was alcohol and heat which did not blow off over the course of the evening. Fairly dry, firm tannins with loads of dark fruit but all of that took a back seat to the heat.
Amazing single vineyard cab. This wine shows all the finesse and balance one would expect from classic old world cabernet, not Napa. With a full 55 months in French Oak, this wine is seamless and silky. The nose goes on forever with beautiful floral notes and a complexity that changes with every sniff. Open this wine several hours before consuming to allow the complexity to develop in the glass. This is a fantastic wine that seems to be under the radar. With just 500 cases produced, this is a keeper. I am very impressed with quality and the price. Great value out of Napa!
