Winery: Licorice, cloves; very smooth, mellow t’s; “blk cherry, choc. & spice; broad fruit on palate, soft & smooth fin.” Great time to drink this characterful & smooth Merlot.

Very tasty with an up front pencil lead nose and lots of dark fruit. Tastes darker than the average merlot. Very smooth and drinkable. Better in a year or two (1999-2000).

This is drinking beautifully - a very pleasant surprise since it is the oldest Merlot in our cellar. If you still have some left, enjoy it now.
