excellent sweetie with good pop and bright acidity to accompany the honied-apricot and blood orange and lanolin notes. Long and super flavorful. Prefer this often even over a good Sauterne. Fantastic. EWG Loire dinner at Otono

I brought this along with the 2005 Rieussec to a tasting with a novice group. Screw cap. Last tasted in 2018 (not 2008). Time has been good to this wine.
The color was just a shade lighter than the Rieussec - like a Hawaiian sunset with a couple hours of daylight, honey. Nose was a pretty floral, citrusy, lychee, which all transitioned to the palate. There was a sweetness to it but was framed with a tangerine-like acid that made the wine felt lighter than the Rieussec although the sweetness level felt the same. Some blue cheese and crackers make a terrific dessert.

(Domaine des Baumard Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru) Nice lime, cream and chalk nose; big, tight, lime, lime cream, rich, honeydew melon palate, deep and focused; long finish (the screwcap was disconcerting on such a wonderfully ageworthy wine as this)
(Domaine des Baumard Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru) Bright canary yellow color; sweet lime, lemon and green fruit nose; delicious creamy lime, green apple and pineapple palate; long finish
(Domaine des Baumard Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru) Light yellow color; light, bright, sweet lime and confectioner's sugar nose; rich, layered, key lime, green honey, mint, tangerine cream and green apple palate with confectioner's sugar, solid; medium-plus finish
(Domaine des Baumard Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru) Green apple, pear and botrytis nose; intense, concentrated green apple, pear, sweet lime, botrytis, honeyed, green, lemon grass palate; long finish (amazing stuff)

Still very fresh. This will last a while. Starting to get a petrol backdrop behind honey and green apple.

Rich, sweet, viscous, apricots, honeyed. Could use a touch, more acidity, but drinking pretty good. From .375ml
