Brownish red. Some spice and forest on the nose. Sweet fruit on the palate. More noticable tannins than noted on earlier bottles. Hints of liqourice in the finish. Will probably not improve, but maybe last for some years, due to the remaining tannins and (sweet) fruit.
On day two: less fruit, and the tannins considerably more dominant. This does not look promising for the future.

Brownish red. Some spice and forest on the nose. Silky and smooth, with fine tannins. Sweet fruit on the palate, maybe a little too sweet? I have tasted other Gigondas wines too that are sweet. Is that normal for Gigondas? Hint of liqourice in the finish. Will not improve, but still last for some years, due to the remaining tannins and (sweet) fruit.

Medium in color with light brown at the rim. A nose of red berries and earth at first with a bit of spice/mint developing. Silky smooth on the palate with medium body, showing integrated forward red fruit flavours. Layered finish that lingers.
