  • Nice deep ruby color. Dark fruit, blackberries, blueberries, floral, spice and hints of earthiness in the nose. Deep blackberry and black cherry fruit in the flavor. Nice complexity and full bodied with nice mouthfeel and structure and a very long finish. Very nice match with a ribeye steak.

  • Really excellent, with integrated tannins, clear fruit, delightful spice - balance, poise and still feeling like it’s in its prime. Exactly what you’d want in Syrah with remarkable PQR.

  • Soft tannins a beautiful wine in its last years

  • My experience mirrors that of Eric Guido two years ago. It is a very ample description. I will further remark, that this tastes like it almost hasn’t budged since release. A remarkable wine and while I don’t remember the price, this cannot have been anything but sensational value. Deep ruby in colour still. Pronounced intensity in every way, and tannins well on the way to being fully resolved. My dad, who is not an inexperienced taster, guessed it was from 2015 and my mom, who admittedly has less of a clue, thought it was from 2017. Still, both remarks speak to the youthfulness og this wine. Must have easily another ten years to go if well stored

  • With family in Bend Oregon. PnP. With veggie pasta in olive oil. Medium red in color. Roses and raspberries on the nose. In the mouth we have plums, red fruit and black pepper. Velvety smooth, some acidity and nicely balanced. Tannins are fully resolved. Finish lingers on. Very nice.
