C- Mild bricking, lighter garnet N- At first off-putting- metallic, fresh blood nature, sulfur, iron but quite cool temp, after a while softer nose with earth, red currants, mushrooms T- again when cool, metallic but with time this opened up with medium bodied, soft tannins and residual fruit of blueberries and red currants. Increased complexity and fine balance. Right bank example with aging.

At the end of its life, but with some fruit remaining - tastes very old, but delicious

($24) Medium-light body with an herbal, bitter, lead pencil nose. Modest fruit. Color is uniformly just a bit tawny. Still tannic. $24
