just peaking with strong leather and earth notes to complement the solid fruit. lasting finish. more dark and brooding but still light enough to be fully approachable.

Jammy dark fruit, sweet blueberry pie, no noticeable heat from the 16% ABV, smooth and jammy classic MD, 9 plus years old and has held up well but time to drink.

Jam on jam, topped with jam, in a pool of JAM! Wow. I understand the intent of this wine, and intent is carried out to an amazing degree. A big smooth fruity red wine with some hints of white pepper (slight) and a bit of steminess. Mostly voluptuous fruit though. Ripe and extracted. Like an Aussie Shiraz should be, right? Impressive for it's true to formness.
