Color: tea color. Organe tin but clear Nose : tea leaves, mushroom, wet forest floor, still very fragrant and subtle earthy notes Palate : medium light body and lots of cherry notes. Still feels fresh on the palate and medium high acidity.
Impressive

Q4 - 2018 Tasting - Aged Bordeaux (Pre-1997) (New York, NY): 1 of 19 tasted double blind. Very soft and velvety on the palate - the fruits here are mature but not faded - ends with a distinct sweetness. Clearly a merlot based wine - and given the notes of sweet fruit - I called this as a Pavie (I thought 80's). - Group vote - 2 pennies

Q4 Wine Club - Aged Bordeaux (Our apt): Wine #1: This was one of those wines that changed quite a bit through the process. It started with more leather and red fruits and maybe a hint of saddle oil. There's a pervasive earthiness throughout the wine. A nice balance between more savory and fruit notes. By the end of the tasting it was mostly savory and the fruit had faded. Still very enjoyable. Weak on nose. Well
Balanced on palate. Didnt decante and had to push cork in.
