  • Decanted 3 hours, served with chimichurri marinated ribeye. "Goodness shit gracious. Spot on. Nose: Huge plummy fruit with dark berry and leathery softness. Great mouthfeel with sweet, floral taste and an uber long finish. Tart cherry and a serious zingy spiciness that is hard to identify. A hint of limey citrus, that got bigger throughout the evening. (Wonder if day two would have been as good?) Will buy again.

  • Great wine. Drinking well now. The fruit is not covered up by anything.

  • On the nose there is oak, lemon and apple. On the palate there is a good concentration of citrus and tropical fruits, oak and a hint of what I can best describe as coconut. There is enough acidity to carry this through. Unlike the first bottle there was no ‘wet matchstick’ on the palate, I suspect the first bottle may have suffered slightly from TCA.

  • On the nose smooth rich oak and ripe citrus fruits. The palate is actually quite complex, and enters with a slight woody taste, wet matches rather than cedar or oak – TCA? The palate continues with lemon, apple and just a hint of tropical fruits or coconut. This wine is quite intense and racy at the same time and a good length. Good potential although I’m not sure about the wet match thing.
