Deep ruby red in the glass. Fruity with some nice earthy and spicy tones. This wine is despite its years a bit on the young side. It can easily go for another decade as it shows no signs of aging yet. Some nice herbal notes in the taste and still some nice tannines. Magnificent glass of wine!

Intense and youthful, but quite classic. Very fresh blackcurrant, hints of violets, cedar, spice. Initially a bit austere, give it a long decant in the unless you really enjoy a massive wall of austere fruit and very sappy tannins. Just in its drinking window and quite primary for my palate, but a delicious glass of wine. I agree this isn't one for the very long haul, but it has a respectable 10 years ahead of it.
