Started off to be peachy. With time in the glass, the wine firmed up with salty butter, caramel, and nut fruit. Like many 93, the acidity and fruit were balanced. This bottle was fresher than my previous bottle. It took some time in the glass to unfold the underlying substance. 92+

Creme brulee, durian, coconut oil, cake, peach and caramel on the nose. Very fat and rich but it lacks acidity. Its a bit one dimensional but still enjoyable. Drinking at its absolute peak. 92+

Deepish gold. Much darker than Leflaive and Ramonet 1993s. Not oxidised but in need of drinking soon. Some pleasant nuttiness and honey on the nose but the palate is a bit too sweet. Drink up

Advanced but alive with notes of dry apricot and mango. Still surprisingly full across the palate. Drink now.

JM dinner. Really strong showing. Quite yellow in color. Bit of struck match on nose. Pure, generous citrus fruit with touch of salinity.
