Typical Chianti characteristics of acidic cherries, tobacco leaves, oak spice. Light to medium bodied, short finish with moderately firm tannins, and an acidic finish made for a good wine with pasta marinara, but not very enjoyable on its own. I guess there is a reason Italians make their wine to go with food.
