Bright lucid yellow. Fresh youthful wine on palate with full mouthfeel, nutty acidity, white stone fruit, an aura of grapefruit and a touch of italian bitterness. Nice length. Surprisingly fresh given the year. Thought it would have been past its peak but this wine was delightful. That said, it is drinking well now and is unlikely to improve from here.

I smell peaches, pears (and a coconut please--oops sorry about the Little Feat detour) and fresh white flowers. Pale yellow color that almost fades away against a white background. A wonderful tang on the tongue. Please let me note that again--Soave with tang. After years of dreck how nice to find out what this wine can really do. I'm going to have to try some of Inama's single vineyard wines. The balance is good, with a medium finish and decent body. Plenty of fruits with nary a touch of butter or vanilla. An excellent food wine for hot weather.
For me, some of the most interesting whites today come from Italy.

Pineapple and citrus in the nose, even a bit of mint? Bit edgy on the finish, but then it turns out to be extremely long with peaches

Simple. Nose reminded me of a Riesling. Clean, crisp, slightly acidic. Went well with garlic herb shrimp over pasta.

Nice Italian white, lots of apples and pears with touches of honey on the finish.
